New findings

Summer holidays are finally here! It means more time to shoot hopefully - there are some projects waiting in my notebook.

Meanwhile, I found some more shots of mine used by clients who purchased them via Dreamstime.

TinEye - what a tool!

Have you ever wondered where your images were used after being bought as RF licence? Trying to find it using google search is one way (I have been using that often) but it only yields something provided the designer of the page mentioned your name.

TinEye is another, revolutionary method. You just upload a small photo, the search engine does the rest.

I applied for the beta testing account and did a few searches. Well, most searches doesn't bring anything, but TinEye is in beta still, so in time it will hopefully work better.

New photos in action.

Doing my regular search for my photos 'in action', I found two instances today. The first one is this:



It was used in a ebook called "Camping fun". On the net there is only an exerpt from the book, so I can't link to the particular place. Nice.

The second one is a flyer about environmental issues, it is in pdf format. The photo used there is this:

Tobacco ?

Season for 'in action' posts? Apparently :)

Another customer let me know about the usage. He said: "Thanks Sebastian, I was able to grab your photo at the last minute and use it as an illustration for an article in "Tobacco Market" magazine" (Polish magazine, issue 9, page 25) - link

In action.

I thought it would be good to label all the posts concerning my photos in action in order to be able to find them all in one place. Yesterday I found one of mine, today a client was kind enough to let me know about the usage of this photo:


This is the message I got:

"We have used this beautiful photo in our Mathematics textbooks for the local secondary students in Hong Kong."

To be honest, I don't know what this photo has to do with maths, but what do I know? :)
